Job Summary:
Oversee the drilling and completion of oil and gas wells. Ensure that wells are drilled and completed safely and efficiently. Develop plans for drilling and completing wells, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee the drilling and completion of oil and gas wells
– Ensure safety and efficiency in drilling and completion operations
– Develop plans for drilling and completing wells, including well design, drilling parameters, and completion strategies
– Collaborate with drilling engineers, geologists, and other specialists to ensure successful project execution
– Manage drilling and completion budgets, and ensure cost-effective operations
– Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
– Analyze and optimize drilling and completion performance
– Develop and implement process improvements to enhance drilling and completion efficiency
– Supervise and mentor drilling and completion teams
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
– Minimum 5 years of experience in drilling and completion operations
– Strong knowledge of drilling and completion techniques, and industry regulations
– Excellent leadership and management skills
– Analytical and problem-solving skills
– Effective communication and collaboration skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
