Job Summary:

Ensure the safety and integrity of oil and gas facilities, equipment, and pipelines by planning and executing inspection programs, identifying and addressing potential hazards, and implementing corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement inspection strategies and programs for oil and gas assets
– Conduct visual inspections, NDT (non-destructive testing), and other specialized inspections
– Identify and report defects, damage, or potential failures
– Develop and prioritize repair and maintenance recommendations
– Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams
– Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., API, ASME, OSHA)
– Analyze inspection data and trends to optimize inspection programs
– Develop and maintain inspection records and reports

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
– Professional engineering license (PE) or equivalent
– Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas inspection or related field
– Strong knowledge of oil and gas industry codes, standards, and regulations
– Experience with inspection software and technologies (e.g., RBI, API 580)
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Effective communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

– Advanced degree or certification in inspection engineering or related field
– Experience with risk-based inspection (RBI) and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM)
– Familiarity with industry-specific software (e.g., SAP, Maximo)
– Experience leading inspection teams or projects
