Job Summary:

Design, develop, install, and maintain instrumentations and control systems for oil and gas facilities, ensuring safe and efficient operation, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

– Design and develop instrumentation and control systems for oil and gas facilities
– Select and specify instruments and control devices (e.g., sensors, transmitters, valves)
– Develop and implement control logic and programming (e.g., PLC, DCS, SCADA)
– Install, test, and commission instrumentation and control systems
– Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and control system issues
– Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams
– Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., API, ISA, IEC)
– Develop and maintain documentation and records (e.g., drawings, manuals, calibration records)

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
– Professional engineering license (PE) or equivalent
– Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas instrumentation or related field
– Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control systems, and industry standards
– Experience with instrumentation and control software (e.g., Honeywell, Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Effective communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

– Advanced degree or certification in instrumentation engineering or related field
– Experience with safety instrumented systems (SIS) and hazardous area classifications
– Familiarity with industry-specific software (e.g., SAP, Maximo)
– Experience leading instrumentation projects or teams
